As far as I remember, RV only has 1 Open House which is usually on the Sat following release of PSLE results. There is no Open House for DSA.

Hi, my son is in Y3 and we hv been given e notice to buy ipad3 (optional) to be used in class in term 3. Is there any restrictions tt we can put into the ipad to prevent the child fm playing games? If yes, will it hamper the use of the ipad?

RV has a new website which looks much better than the older one.

I find that they have created a blog to provide all kind of information for the use of ipad. All questions such as the right attitude etc are provided in the website

They have fb page too and many events are posted in their fb, very useful for parents to know whats happening in school

I vaguely read in earlier post here tt there is sthg tt we can key into ipad to restrict the playing of games. However, i also understand tt it can make the overall use of the ipad unbearable. Appreciate any advice/comments on this.:)

Term 2 is ending soon. How’s Parents of Year 1 getting on?

Am not real pleased with the way new iPad being delivered turned out and there is still the $10 ntuc voucher outstanding.
Anyway, we moved on and concentrate on enjoying our days in RV.

Restriction would make the apps icon disappear and one would not be able to download any apps. This can create inconvenience if the child need to download learning apps in school.
