We got a place at acjs and it was also very tense and quiet. Most parents were very sensitive to the rest who had not gotten a place yet, walking out quietly w a smile when their names were called.
I was in the overseas and due for 11am flight today...was so lost and couldn't do anything in the hotel room until my friend brought me good news at 8:52am... :rahrah: then I could really pull myself up and speed to the airport. It was the longest wait ever. Thank God it's over.

You must be on cloud 9 now....very stressful to be undergoing balloting, I understand. Have a great weekend ahead! :rahrah: -

Hi Windie,Thanks chatty! I've heard alot about the nurturing environment and I feel very blessed that ds has a chance to spend his early formal schooling life there

Btw ru in the PSG?
You should be able to enjoy your weekends 'fully' now, after being tensed up for 1 entire week (or month?).
No, I am not in the PSG. A lot of parents there are in the PSG, and very supportive and self-sacrificing group, I am full of admiration for them and their dedication.

For Phase 2C in ACSJunior, 76 applicants for 64 places. My view is risk of balloting is high with so many new developments TOP in the area.hi

Hihi
I am thinking of applying for ACJS for my DS in July this year under phase 2B but we are outside of 2Km. I knwo stats last year showed no vacancies but wonder how would my chances be this year? -
Hullo!
My hubby’s in ACS Secondary before, but not ACPS.
So if he subscribes to join the Alumni (ACS Old boys association) $500 one time off for life membership), does that mean my son can register in phase 2A?
1km cut off dont matter anymore then?
