ILOVESCIENCE:
Welcome n jiayou jiayou!Hey Parents,
I am a student from kong hwa in 5/2.
My teacher said that the science exam papers are very hard this year.well, hope i get good marks.
You will be very excited by the new building in Term 3. Different colour themes for the classes. All classrooms have coloured walls, most have tap/ basin and cupboards! :imcool:
The indoor sports hall is spacious with toilet/ shower facilities.
Huge dance studio cum auditorium too!
The library is nice too, with a mini stage for story telling. Hopefully they get new and better books too!
Oh, and the toilets are airy, with gorgeous mosiac tiles by the mirror. :nailbite:
And if you love Science, wait till you see you new Science labs! Beautiful!
The new facilities are so nice, world class standard. Hopefully the students will maintain so and not \"destroy\" the beautiful structures...
The pond and pagoda is still there...
Just my opinion! :please: -
Wow, u had a preview, Layla?!
-
sneak preview
The facade from outside is so-so but inside is wow!
Looking forward, thankfully the canteen also added 2 stalls, total of 10 instead of 8. I only hope they do not increase the food prices. I have asked around some friends, it seems we do have one of the most affordable prices in our canteen. A lot of other school food starts from $1. We still have $0.70 noodles ... -
It’s true that the lifts are Only for teachers & staff and the highest floor is 6th storey!?
-
Hope the food is more nutritious and edible. The current ones are really miserable.

Wow got lifts ah?? How come not for the students
-
Only one side of the building (the one with back to the public car park) has 6 levels. There are 2 lifts and mainly for teachers, staff and people helpers. Otherwise, everyone will be fighting to use the lifts.

Anyone looking forward to their move? I am but i am quite disappointed to see that they will only use 2 gates for dismissal.
Anyone knows if it only applies to lower primary where they don’t restrict the upper ones? -
Went down to the actual site today. Noticed that at Gate 6, parents had to stand outside the gate when there is no shelter provided. It's worse if it rains... Maybe the school wants us to wait in the nearby CC first...

I saw this morning that they have done up a shelter at gate 6. Not sure if its temporary or not. But of course its not linked to the CC.
For those registering this year at KH, good luck.
