Doubt in the recent case any false documents was involved.. it is just a word of mouth or internet advertising, which is not a good defense by any measurement.

I would believe that a fake IC (not easily verified by reasonable means) would constitute a valid defense, even with the current law. But apparently, this element is lacking.. for the cases that surfaced so far.

I doubt there is any.. which, IMO, implies that for such a case, probably the prosecution may not even press charges as it could be a valid defense.. unless they doubt what the man said and he has to prove it and not just make up stories. Meaning.. the statement has to be in line with the prost's and other evidences present.. for e.g.

And yes, some guy friends would openly confess having engaged the services of prost when we chit on this subject. They wont volunteer information but when asked, they would tell in bits and pieces.
