Just curious, why are you not interested in RAD Ballet?Does anyone know how the CCAs Modern Tap Dance or Modern Jazz are at MGS?
My daughter wants to learn dancing and the choice is either of the two as we are not keen on RAD Ballet. Based on the information on the school website, it appears that neither have garnered any SYF awards. I'd rather she choose a CCA which would be a niche area of the school for future admission to MGS Sec. I know MGS is strong in netball, swimming, gym and choir, but she is not keen on any!
If you are intending to use DSA into schools with niche area in dance, RAD Ballet is highly recognised, especially if your girl has grade 5 and above by P6. -

I agree that the enrichment classes within school hours are very good. For one the kids don't have to spend extra hours, money and time(travelling) on other enrichment centres. The gals will also get to know each other better since they'll have a better time during their P1/2 compared to the upper pri gals, when studies becomes tougher.
CCA...most impt is the interest...so what if its NICHE and yr gal can't perform to 'Niche's standard...Kids do well and what they like best.

Are the girls expected to walk up the stairs themselves and fine the classrooms?
My gal is rather timid and doesn’t dare to walk up herself.
Any suggestions how to overcome this?
It’s stressing me out. Other than that, if the maid follows her she is fine.
