Word of advice, the basic, though is cheaper, is not advisable because that pan is just meant for shallow frying. The shop lady has some good advice on cooking. You may want to ask her.

Alot of the online recipes uses the Deeper model. Everything Korean is selling at $72.90 for the deeper model.

                Ichigokun:

Ew. Made in China again. Confirm low quality.

They said the pans were made of ceramic. If their pans were made in Korea I would have believed.

If made in China? They most probably melted toxic plastic and cast all the toxic plastic over the pan
Please.. you have been making anti-china remarks all too often, and many comments are baseless..

China has sent man into space.. are you going to say the videos/reports are fake?

Yes, china has her fair share of unscrupulous manufacturers etc..

but \"confirm low quality\" is an irresponsible remark.

                    ksme:

Thanks Dasalo for your suggestion. I will try the re-seasoning out. On my oven, should I call the electrician or the oven repair? Thanks again for your advice.
Any electrical appliance that trip often or short circuit should be attended to by a professional ASAP. Unless you don't intend to use it again, and unplug it permanently.

There is risk of electrical shock or fire hazard. The electrical wire's insulation may have worn off. When the oven is used, the heat generated may cause expansion/movement of some component, hence it may not trip immediately when switched on. Serious case will trip immediately on power up.

Fact 1 : It is selling more expensive than many online stores mentioned in this thread.

Fact 2 : It doesn't do free delivery.

Wouldn't be surprised if \"Everything Korean\" surfs KSP....

quite a number of \"new\" members promoting the shop as satisfied customer.....

                      cute mum:
                      hi Kooky83,

Yes, very much cheaper than places like CK Tangs, Isetan, Robinsons, Taka etc.

As for online, the price in the shop is just a few dollars more expensive but I feel SAFE buying because I can see and touch the products, and there is someone whom I can speak to and ask some questions. I get nervous when I put my credit card details down and the items delay or product is broken or not to my expectations and I get stuck with the product. My husband also prefers I buy something that I am 100% sure rather than GUESS it works the way I read and see it to be on the computer screen.

                      Hope the above helps.

                      - Mdm Goh

The pans are available at Isetan and Carrefour already, selling at $69 for standard flat one, $89 for deeper one and $99 for jumbo grill. jumbo one is at Carrefour but need to order cos according to the promoter the jumbo one not so popular sales not moving fast so they will order only if someone place order for it. They don want to keep stock of that. those that I saw is the red one, just few days ago.

good for pp who want to see the real thing before deciding on whether to get or not
