      Hi,

I seldom post but I have been reading. But I really need some advice here. I intend to register my boy for Henry park under Phase 2C. As what others did, I decide to register on the 3rd day. At the same time, if the numbers exceed the vacanies, I will go for Queenstown Pri.

May I know if photocopy of documents can be used for registration or must it be original. Cause most probably, me and hubby will each station at each school and see the number. I worried if both at Henry park, we have no time to rush down to Queenstown.
I will go for HPPS if I am within 1km. Can still go for Queenstown under 2Csupp.

Is this true? I thought I heard many previous cases whereby parents did queue up separately at two different schools and decide which one at the last minute. So if the original is required, then how can it be done? Or was I given the wrong info. in the past? :?

don't wait for last day to register at both schools in that case. Check if original documents are needed for withdrawal procedures. If no, register at day1 in any one sch n monitor. If day3 warrants u to deploy plan b to abandon sch A n register at sch B, that's where stationing 2 parents at each sch comes into play. One will do withdrawal procedure hopefully with no need for original ICs n stuff while the other standby at sch B with original document for registrations. Make sure u get all the required doc and timing inplace to avoid screwups.
        Good luck!

How much vacancies r there left in phase2csupo last year at queenstown?
Unless one stays within 1km from queenstown, there is still a risk to take as the change in ruling this year favouring SG over PR could throw last few years' statistics out the window. Ponder about plan C too, just in case.
          Good luck!

              Hi Jedamum,

Problem is I am not within 1km of HPPS, I am within 1-2km so if those within 1km all take up the place, then I will go straight to QTPS liao. I think based on past yrs stats, QTPS still have place in Phase 2C supp.

I think my chances are slim…

Queenstown had vacancies for foreigners in previous years.

                  Hi mummies,

I need some advise, I am under P2C within 1km for 2 schools, prefer school A that is walking distance but it is more popular than the school B. My questions are: -

                  1) will they announce how many seats are left for P2C after P2B? If yes, when will they announce?
                  2) can I call the school to check the status prior to registrating? Will they tell us how many SC or PR and their distance category(1KM. 1km-2km etc) and whether balloting is require?
                  3) is it advisable to wait till the last day to register?

                    sorry, add one more question

                    4) for P2C, is the balloting day the same day as the ‘announcement of results’ day on 7 Aug?

Nope. Not the same day. The balloting date and time will show on the registration form that you applied from that school.

Anyone think before if using computerised method, if last minute cancel have to use origninal copies documents to cancel it. As what i know is now when registered first time have to have origninal copies but to cancel no need. But go to apply for the next school on last minute have to apply through original documents. So is to says next time sooner or later all schools accept computerised method , there will be no more last minute withdraw method anymore.
