HVR:
Thanks for the quick reply! I checked and nothing yet on the website. I asked my dd and she can't remember the test date. I just want to know roughly when the results will be out so that I can look out for it. Dd kind of bochap:(
Haha! I think a lot of our girls are bochap.
Do you have your dd's password on the UNSW site? You can check the results online.jtoh:
Hi does anyone know whether the UNSW results are out?
TIA

630 am ? Wow that's way too early ?! Your girl has to get up by 5?NonKiasuDad:
Yes, the best way is to take the school bus. They make more friends that way too.
I would think all parents appreciate school bus service. But SSTA needs to play their part too, in collaboration with the school. Right now it's basically a \"cow-boy\" attitude. There is no strict enforcement of the earliest time the school bus is allowed to reach the school based on my personal experience.
Even though there is supposedly a stipulated earliest time the bus is allowed to reach the school, but I know of bus that reach the school daily at around 6.30am, to facilitate their round 2 fetching of other passengers. Which means that the bus will push back the timing to pick up the girls at extremely early hours, and the girls will be left at the school from 6.30am onwards!!!!!!
If the school can work with SSTA to ensure that school bus reach the school not earlier than a more reasonable timing, the traffic situation can be more bearable for everyone. Right now it's a very assymmetric situation, some buses arriving as early as 6.30am, some 7am. It's now left entirely alone to the individual drivers, which should be not the case at all. I have informally sounded this out to the SSTA rep, and the response I get is \"Why don't you shift nearer to the school?\".
Just thinking aloud - if everyone stays at Hillcrest Road, why is there a need for school bus in the first place???? -

My bad. It appeared that only computer skill paper was tested and not the rest of the subjects. -

Well its quite a challenge at times but shes quite fast, stil half a sleep though, maid ties her hair while she chokes on her bread, goes to the toilet, brush teeth and washes her face. After changing she still hv time to pack her bag or she will take a nap on the sofa till bus comes, the maid will call her when bus is near and she will leave the house straight into the bus. I will prepare her bottle and biscuits in the nite She use to wake up at 5.00am but too early, notice she needs 15 to 20 mins to prepare, she can continue her bread in the bus but she needs to take her vitamins so really got to coat her stomach with bread first. Oh yes , the vtamins r really important to keep her going teh whole day cos she needs to stay back in sch for supp classes n thereafter to other courses.moonee:

Anyone living in Bukit Batok? Can I have the school bus timing for P1?
Thanks -
Can anyone let me know if your girls attended prep classes before starting primary 1 in RGPS? Any recommendation for good tuition center in the Bt Timah/ Novena/ Newton areas?
I'm not one of those 'hardworking' moms who coached my daughter constantly hence starting to worry when she apparently didn't make it to a 'prestigious' tution center. Appreciate any advice/ guidance! Many thanks.
