what if someone spy and sneak to peep into the set of documents you’d submitted - look at what financial figure you’d quoted, then report to that person, who then leak out commercial secret ?

You mean a mole in my team? Or in WP's context, a squirrel?

Don't think it is a scenario in Peter Lim's case.

women.......women........the top sales women in insurance, property, stocks, etc also use the sama sama tactic. Open leg, business huat ah.
actually quite shocking to realize it's practised in the IT profession field.

thought only practised in complicated entertainment TV cinema world, where certain actress able to land in certain meaty role, when they sleep with movie directors.

I pity my lady colleagues now. I am sure tongues will be wagging when they bring in the next mega deal even though they might have clinched it \"cleanly\".

              It's an unfair sweeping generalisation.

                  AC_Power:

In your illustration above, the boss does not even need to demand the team to justify Vendor B. He only needs to reject the justification to pay more for Vendor A and Vendor B's proposal will be accepted.

In gist, there can never be a perfect system as long as human is involved. Just like there will never to perfect IT security because there is always human as the weakest link.
Ya.. but later vendor B keep on asking asking for more budget etc.. it defeats the system.. And, the justification part.. just to keep himself off the hook.. well, if your boss ask you to do something, it will be difficutl to refuse..

I feel that, where tax payers money is involved, there should be addition check.. for e.g. another govt agency will vet thru the evaluation team's report at different stage of the evaluation, and not after it has concluded (which, can be influenced by the team's boss's \"judgement\"). This will make it more fair. When I was doing NS, frequently has to attend to vendors who do works at the camp.. their comment is.. ah-gong's money is EASIEST to earn.

It may happen but it is not a practise. Calling it a practise is saying that it is a norm.

Was talking to so some of my friends over drinks a couple of weeks ago. We were all in the same industry previously, our spouses too, some still in the industry now. We concluded that we were all pretty naive. I mean we hear of all these but we tend to take them as baseless rumours or envy talking. Now on hindsight, we think at one point or another, we were propositioned before, the gals and even the guys. But we were too dense to truly understand what the other party was driving at. 😆

That damn idiot had to mention where they did it, how many times they did it as well as oral sex. He is out to drag the women down with him. The one who did it with him for 7 times is unmarried.

Women are at a disadvantage when they have to hit quota.

It takes 2 hands to clap. If there's no demand, there will not be any supply. End of the day, win-win situation. 1 gets money, the other gets pleasure. She may be married and so is he. As the chinese says, \"ni zuo chu yi, wo zuo shi wu\"...Wahahaha...!! Think about it, if the husband is good, caring and attentive, earns sufficient to support the family, she would not have ended up in such a situation I feel. :siam:
