many parents will be affected this year onwards -
if indeed this new ruling on 4 years residence is True / implemented.
Those parents who rush to rent houses last minute for popular schools before P1 registration due - also no use. -

I have done my PV in Ngee Ann. During my stint there, i chatted with parents whose kids are studying there. I do not recall hearing from them that there are a lot of bullies in the school. Then again, bullies are everywhere even in good schools. What's important is to teach our kids to be assertive when such situation arises.Hi, am reading and re-reading posts after post in this forum.

Not that I've seen or heard. I think every school probably has its share of bullies. It's more about how the kids and teachers handle the situation. When DS1 was in P1, his classmates and he were still learning how to cope with social issues, so another kid took my son's stationery. When we finally raised it with the teacher (after DS1 tried to get it back on his own), the response was pretty swift. We got the item back, got an apology, the kid was counselled, and life went on. They are still happy classmates today. Think the 'bullying' happens everywhere lah. Just a matter of how one looks at it sometimes. -
