I think the punishment was also for their crimes on top of their \"take rap\" charges.

One man was speeding - $150 fine + 6 points.

Other man was for running Illegal Internet Gambling + hurting Police officer.

How was this similar offences ?
Do you think if u were taking a walk then bash up a Neighbourhood Police Post police officer, the TP will fine u and give u demerit points ?
      zadrian,

huh ??????? :scratchhead: where was it in the article which said the salesman was running illegal internet gambling and hurting police officers ? http://i49.tinypic.com/24m6yae.gif\">

recently read about Woffles incident in the papers, thought the fine handed out was kinda light.

one set of rules for some, another for others ?

Dis disparity was stuck in my mind when I heard about it.
If u transposed his mole from chin to forehead n imagine w/o d specs,
doesn't he look like guanyin - untouchable :rotflmao:

In d words of DPM TCH, wat do u think?

Umm.. Better not to insult (or make fun of) GUANYIN, by associating her with this piece of Plastic Garbage.. ๐Ÿ™

WW may be ''untouchable''.. But he certainly has been ''touched up'' all over!

          firefly38,

Nope. m neither insulting nor making fun of d most venerable Guanyin.
It was d mole association n 'untouchability' dat got to me. ๐Ÿ˜‰
It wld take our top plastic surgeon many lifetimes (if one believes in reincarnation)
of uncountable gud deeds to become a pusa anywhere close to d much loved n respected Guanyin.

          Robert Dr Nero, can?
He also has a prominent mole on his face.
          Dat one an actor. ๐Ÿ˜†

DH and I were discussing abt this case and he said that maybe, just maybe, that the sentencing judge's wifey may have been a client of WW and tells her husband not to pass too harsh a sentence??? :siam:

But seriously, for this case to happen in 2006 and sentenced only 6 yrs later is quite unusual (most cases take a couple of yrs to sentence)...this \"wolfman' really know pple in high places.

Would it be the case was just uncovered now but not 6 yrs ago?
