as the traffic is rather heavy in the morning, can parents who are turning left onto amk ave 4 from amk street 11 help by :
1) using yr signal. this would enable those turning right onto amk ave 4 fm street 11 to clear up their Q faster.
2) exercise lane discipline as in "turn left & keep left". if you need to change lane, do it safely.
for those turning into street 13, plse don’t take yr own sweet time to turn especially if there are no one crossing the road.
let’s make sending our DD to school an enjoyable one & promote good driving habits. -

Btw, hope to gather SNG parents' views:
-do u think the school shd open up Car Park 26 in the morn'g, so that theres another option to drop the pupils. Cease congestion.
Sch has decided not to open Car spark 26 in view of cars driving down the sch slope which will exit at Ave 2, after alight'g their kids.
That's for safety reason, I kn.
But sch can deploy staff, Parents volunteers to stand guard at the junction of the slope.
Just my opinion only.
Hope to hear more.....tks. -
good but guess they don’t want to compromise safety over convenience plus we are looking at permanently having PV/traffic warden to stand guard. it could also put them in danger during rainy season.
n comes 2014 or 2015, Anderson will be moving over while their sch undergoes upgrading. this is something that the sch will have to look into cos st 13 will be very congested.
other that what you have brought up (Crester), i thot it would be good to have a sheltered pathway from the building to cp26. but, lookg at the fire engine sign near there, not sure whether this is possible. -

SNG used to hv very devoted Parents Volunteers(even when their kids aldy enrolled in SNG) doing traffic warden duty till 0730.good but guess they don't want to compromise safety over convenience plus we are looking at permanently having PV/traffic warden to stand guard. it could also put them in danger during rainy season.

They would open car doors for the Xiao Meimei along St 13. Helped them wif bags at times....
Sheltered pathway Gd idea leh.
Don't want to think in 2014 when APS moves over....
Tks for opinion, CookiesMonster.
Any more views , SNG parents?
