I did selective micro-management as it was IMPOSSIBLE to micro-manage in my portfolio. I did that for what was important to people's livelihood. It was my way of protecting and providing stewardship to some \"moment of folly\" staff.

To be candid, I would think all those up in the line need to be reprimanded as well in his case for negligence to pick up his moment of folly, regardless of how high up they are. Is it not their job to provide stewardship other than looking at it as micro-management?

Everytime they caught a senior level CS, the small fry civil servants got hit really bad. Bosses will ask "you are just a clerk, how come can have LV bags? I want to check your bank account." Please. LV bags is not something so unaffordable if a person saves.

yeah lor, now so many young people are driving big expensive cars, wearing clothes that easily cost $100+ per shirt or blouse all mostly sponsored by loving parents. being a clerk doesnt necessarily mean she cant afford all the expensive items.
