Hi, my ds was transferred to maria Stella on 2nd half 2012, in P2. Can any parent advise what subject is PAL and what books to bring?
Welcome to the family.
For PAL lesson, there is no need to bring anything. It stands for Programme for Active Learning. Just need to wear PE attire with the house tee on top. For more information on PAL lesson, you can do a quick search. It has been discussed before.
Hope your DS will enjoy his stay in the school.
Tks
By the way, the school told my hubby ds need to wear tie for assembly on this monday when school reopens. But there is PAL on this day, meaning ds need to bring house tee to change?
if there is PE or PAL lesson, they can be excused from wearing school uniform.. -

Any P1 boys who registered, received confirmation letter for the wushu CCA??? -
Hi, my son is taking school bus for 1st time and the bus operator wants to collect payment for July, Nov and Dec. The operator told me that’s the policy but unable to explain why. Would like to know if that’s the norm for bus operator to collect bus fares for Dec school holidays, and way in advance?

any affiliation with Maris Stella Primary school?

Dear Parents of 1E, are you aware that the boys’ timetable has changed for this semester? My DS told me so earlier this week, but I didn’t take much notice of it, as I didn’t see any circulars or anything written on the Marist Buddy regarding it. However, I ‘finally’ discovered the new timetable in his personal folder earlier today. Hence, thought to share with you, so that you can be aware too in case you ain’t.

yes, saw the new timetable too. no more tie on monday!
there is also a test schedule for Term 3 and 4.
also, a reminder that coming monday is a school holiday.
does anyone know when the english show-and-tell is? one of the exercises for the reading folio was to write about an adventure book. the child is expected to bring the book to school and do a show-and-tell. my DS has been carrying it back and forth for a week. wondering when he really needs it. -
Hello P3 moms with kids in badminton CCA… can I confirm if the badminton CCA is 3x per week for P3s (not school team)?
I want my boy to take up swimming next year but if badminton is 3x per week, he’ll end up having CCA 4x a week and I’m not prepared to fetch him from school so many times a week, which also means I’ll be paying for his school bus and student care for nothing… -
Bigfoot,
If you are reading this, can you let me know if you sent your DS to private badminton classes since you pulled him out of the CCA? If so, where did you send him?
TIA
