Hi, my ds was transferred to maria Stella on 2nd half 2012, in P2. Can any parent advise what subject is PAL and what books to bring?

      Welcome to the family. 🙂

For PAL lesson, there is no need to bring anything. It stands for Programme for Active Learning. Just need to wear PE attire with the house tee on top. For more information on PAL lesson, you can do a quick search. It has been discussed before.

Hope your DS will enjoy his stay in the school. 🙂

Tks 😄 By the way, the school told my hubby ds need to wear tie for assembly on this monday when school reopens. But there is PAL on this day, meaning ds need to bring house tee to change?
If PAL falls on Mondays, then congrats, you don't need to wear the school uniform or tie. Just the house tee will do 😄

Hi - I tried the wushu last year. Felt the the class is too big thus my boy didn’t manage to pick up the moves correctly.

So pulled him out in P2 n went to the external branch instd (ie, the svc providers also do lessons out of school). Didn’t go back to the same provider cos their lessons are conducted too far from my hse n at a non convenient (to me) time - so I went to another provider who also teaches schools.

Figured the syllabus are the same so if my boy picks up the basic moves correctly - n if he is good enuff - can always join back the school’s.

Hi, my son is taking school bus for 1st time and the bus operator wants to collect payment for July, Nov and Dec. The operator told me that’s the policy but unable to explain why. Would like to know if that’s the norm for bus operator to collect bus fares for Dec school holidays, and way in advance?

Dear Parents of 1E, are you aware that the boys’ timetable has changed for this semester? My DS told me so earlier this week, but I didn’t take much notice of it, as I didn’t see any circulars or anything written on the Marist Buddy regarding it. However, I ‘finally’ discovered the new timetable in his personal folder earlier today. Hence, thought to share with you, so that you can be aware too in case you ain’t.
