Thanks 24hr-mum, I have considered other centres. Either they are too far ( which will suck up travelling time) or the schedule cannot match ours. Will try Yang lao shi. Hopefully all turn out well for our children.

I have been thinking of sending my P1 & K1 to TienHsia due to the travel distance needed to Xuelin. From Thomsom to Katong! However after sending my P2 to Xuelin for 2 lessons, I believe it's worthwhile if they can keep my gal's passion for learning Chinese burning!! It's not an easy to substain, once they have a lousy teacher for a given year; that's IT! Gone....My gal looks forward to Xuelin's class and her feedback for the 1st lesson is that they dun have to do a lot of homework yet she can learns a lot.. Thus I am arranging with them to open P2, P1 and K1 simultaneously. Seems difficult but I am still pushing.....

Pls can you pm me the number to xl at Katong pls? Thank you vm

I spoke to Yang Laoshi herself, she said their standard is slightly higher than what is required; eg at K2, students will do 造句… Sounds rather academic.

I am not sure how 'high' she refers to. My P2 just joined and at registration. she did emphasize that the standard is higher. Reason being it is a compo/ compre class, good to have at least 90marks to start with, or the kid might find it tough to follow the class as they are required to write 生字.
