You are encouraged to submit applications by 07 June 2012 (Thursday). Students who are currently in the Primary School GE Programme must apply under the GE Domain. Those who score 80% or higher for their overall Primary 6 marks (CA1+SA1 consisting of English, Mother Tongue, Mathematics & Science) will be exempted from the GAT. Those who score less than 80% for their overall Primary 6 marks (CA1+SA1) will be required to sit for the GAT. All GE Domain applicants will be required to attend an interview. We will let you know the exact date and time via email. -

I did clarify with the school last year for my younger DS when receiving the Letter of Offer (Confirmed offer). They did say they expect him to get the same score as the rest (which he didn't in the end!!!), but when I probed further, the teacher confirmed that they cannot go against the MOE stipulated guideline of 200.i3mum:
So just have to meet the T-score of 250 to get in MGS & SCGS ?
NO
as long as meet the entry requirement for the express stream
school cannot set minimum target t-score for DSA candidate if the candidate has been offered a CO. it defeats the purpose of DSA -
G Tan:
No lah. If accepted, you just need to meet the minimum criteria of the school, something like 200 score[/quote]If it is a non-IP programme, some schools do specify \"must meet minimum requirements of Express Stream\". Usually this just means must meet a score of like 188 (I think that is the very very minimum for Express?).phankao:

All these while, I've the impression that as long as one is being accepted during DSA & that the sec school offers IP prog, the child will be in IP regardless of the t-score. Isn't this the case?
Regardless of t-score? Wah, then get t-score 150 also can, har?
:scared:
Another way the schools like to word it in their Letters is \"must meet the minimum requirements for entry into the programme in their school\". Usually that would be 200 (for the better schools).
So - you check with the school to clarify. -

It is better that you inform your parents asap and get them to call RI directly (63538830).
I hope u r reading dis.
u need to contact RI ASAP to explain your late submission for GEP domain. Try Monday.
d number given by 8228 is d general no. Try these two direct numbers for Admission Office: 64199755 or 64199231.
Standby all ur relevant documents (hard copies, certified) for submission to General Office with payment.
Maybe u can still make it for d GAT as ksme indicated.
Gud luck. -

The office is closed on the weekend, that's why there's no reply from the school. Best if you go down tomorrow and submit your hard copies asap. Also highlight to them that you're from GEP because GEP students have their GAT before mainstream students. That's why they ask GEP students to submit their documents before everyone else.I emailed them, but still no response.
Maybe no problem, cos video show submit in early June, but they say encouraged.
They put up to 7 July so :xedfingers: and hope for the best when submitting. -

Hi, has anyone received email or sms notification of the GAT results of RGS or Nanyang (under the academic domain for both) yet?
The first selection test for RGS is this Sat, so girls who have cleared the first round would have been notified by now?
Thanks! -
