      The Little Cheng Mommy:
Intended to get an irobot for my mum. Tempted to get from Autovacstore since it's cheaper. However, I'm concern about the servicing issues after the 1 year warranty. Read from forum that it's recommended to service the robot once per year (as robot tends to wear off after the 1st year). And since Autovac is not the authorized retailer, irobot will not provide any service/repair. So where should we bring the robot to do the yearly servicing or repair after the warranty? How much will it cost?

Hi, Many thanks for the interest. All warranty and repairs are covered comprehensively by us and after the warranty Period, which can be extended to 2 years, we provide repairs and servicing at costs much lower than any retailer. We do have the Latest Dual eye Lg roboking 6142LVM for $799. Do contact us [email protected] if interest or for any queries, would do our utmost to help.

Hi there, I'm browsing online deciding which to purchase between iRobot Roomba 770 and Rydis R750.

After comparing the specs, I think that Rydis R750 is a more value for money buy.

You can compare the specs of all the robot vacuum cleaner on this website.

        For Rydis, http://robotbg.com/robots/floor_cleaners/moneual/rydis_r750

        For iRobot Roomba 770, http://robotbg.com/robots/floor_cleaners/irobot/roomba_770

Hope the info helps, will review here once my new robot vacuum arrives.

        Cheers!

I just bought irobot Roomba 531. It kept giving error 9, indicating dirty bumper or sensor. How can it be dirty when it is brand new? Following the instruction, I tapped the bumper many times but it still refused to work. Does anyone have the same problem before? TIA.

                  never.

in the june's IT show, there were 3 booths selling robot vacuum cleaner - irobot, one from korea selling 2 in 1 (vacuum and mop) model for $900+ and one from taiwan selling many models with the cheapest only $100+. both the Korea and Taiwan brands are new in Singapore market. maybe i should have bought the cheapest taiwan model and try it out.

my new and first irobot is not as intelligent as i like it to be. it did not stop after more than 90 minutes when cleaning my bedroom which is not big but narrow L shape with 2 mattresses on the floor. it took about 10 minutes each when i separated the L shape to two rectangular areas using virtual wall. so it works well only when the area is regular shape like square or rentangle.

Hubby just bought the iClebo Arte at Metro, Causeway Point. First timer user of such gadget and it seems to clean better than the normal vacuum. Currently using the normal one only on weekend to clean corners where the robot was unable to go. The only issue at times is that the robot will get entangled with my floor mat I placed outside both toilets and I have to pick up the robot to released it.

The New Iclebo arte ($749) is a fairly good choice for a robotic cleaner. You may either remove the mat or use a magnetic tape to cordon off the mat to prevent entanglements.
the wide range available may leave some spoiled for choice, can always arrange for a demonstration of a range of models before purchase.
