Prosperity to me means no lack, earn enough so that I don't have to worry about daily living. I don't need designer clothes but can afford to buy nice clothes as and when I want.
It will be nice to be really RICH (ie. really plenty of money)! But I don't really expect it nor buy toto and hope God will strike me rich.
But I still pray for prosperity and God to bless me richly in every way - money included.

Jesus never lived for Himself. We should do the same. It is very difficult and personally I myself is still very far from that ideal. I am afterall a sinner and I have to admit I can be quite selfish. But what I have learnt over the years as a Christian is when I put others before me, God will bless me and fulfill all my needs. -

Its an old joke but I hv modify some.
Soon after d first opium war in mid 19th century, a small group of Buddhist monks with a few hundred followers
descended on d Shanghai International Settlement to seek refuge fr Qing persecution.
D mainly foreigners in d Settlement grew wary of d new group n seek an excuse to get rid of them.
They asked d church fathers to decree that d new group of Chinese must convert to Christianity or be banished fr d Settlement.
There was understandably a huge outcry from the new group of refugees.
To make it seemed legit n proper, d Chinese group was offered a deal:
d Christian foreigners will select one of own to hv a religious debate with the chief monk.
If the Chinese wins, they can stay; if not, they'd have to convert or leave.
However, as the chief monk doesn’t speak foreign languages, it was agreed it wld be a silent debate.
On the chosen day d most intelligent Jesuit priest well versed in d Christian faith n scriptures faces off against d chief monk.
D priest raised his hand n showed three fingers; d monk immediately replied with one raised finger.
Next, d priest waved his finger around himself; d monk pointed to d ground emphatically fr where he sat.
D priest brought out a communion wafer n a chalice of wine; d monk pulled out an apple.
With dat, d priest stood up, bowed, conceded defeat n declared dat d monk was an enlightened being.
Later d church fathers n leaders of d foreigners met with their chosen priest n asked him what had happened.
He was their best, how cld he hv lost.
D priest explained, \"First I held up three fingers to represent d Holy Trinity;
he responded by holding up a single finger to remind me there is but 3-in-1 n there is still ONLY one God (Supreme Being).
Then, I circled my finger around myself to show him that God was all ard us;

KH said the voice of the tender loving Father has spoken to him and apologising to him that he must go through his ordeal. He also said God even thanked him and want him \"to be the man and ministry\"......blah, blah, blah......
That is tantamount to saying that God has done him a wrong. God has made a mistake. A God that makes only ONE tiny mistake has ceased to be perfect. A being that is less than perfect cannot be God.
This is what the Bible says about God:
He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he.
(Deuteronomy 32:4)
And God even thanked him?
That's in direct contradiction to what Jesus taught.
Jesus told even his own apostles: \"when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are UNWORTHY servants; we have only done our duty.’”
I'm highlighting all these to expose these so-called preachers who preach themselves and not what is taught in the Bible. They are what the Bible called false teachers. -

When I search for the words 'prosper, prosperous, and prosperity', there is only one result returned, and the verse in question discuss about Israel in Old Testament.
When I search for 'Sacrifice', 22 verses are returned.
That should give a good idea of what direction a Christian should live his/her life.
