      Hi ckhoo5

My friend showed me the results of her son. His class ave is 50+ and cohort is 60+. think her son is either in 1b or 1d. Whereas another class has 70+ for ave mark if I remember correctly. It is good that yr ds loves maths. Usually those who are strong in maths will get into the top 2 classes.

          Hi ckhoo5

Previously, streaming is in p2 (u will know which class u go to based on yr results at end of p1. Last yr’s p1 (my ds) is the first batch to be streamed in p3 which means I will know whether my ds gets into top 3 classes or not end of this yr. All along in woodgrove pri, e is the best class followed by f & g. Not sure whether this will chg (maybe new principal might chg it).

Last yr p1, there were 2 so called higher cl class (sen kwang). Think this yr there is only 1 class. 1H is the best cl class. If yr ds is in form class 1H but he goes to another class for cl, this means he is not in the cl best class. But not to worry, if he works hard, there is a chance of getting into higher cl nx yr. Streaming to go into E, F or G is based on yr overall scores for all subjects and they will also take maths into consideration. Hope I hv ans yr question.

              Hi Fragaria

This yr’s P2 students were given opportunities (not compulsory) to join selected CCAs. So far this yr, there were auditions/testings for Playhouse, badminton, hip hop, table tennis. If you are selected, yr child will need to go to school early ie. 10am-11.30am. The school will inform you the details if yr child is selected. Yr child will have sufficient time to buy lunch after CCA in the sch canteen or you can let yr child bring own lunch.

Think all students will need to choose a CCA when they are in P3. In this case they
will have to stay back after school.

                Hi Steadyberry

Thanks for the info, appreciate it! I just went to the PTM today. Meeting class teacher was fast as there is an allocated slot and timing but waited quite long to see the CL teacher, Ms Tan.

Yes, always need to wait quite a long time for the cl teacher. I will be going later in the afternoon. Sorry forgot to add in netball, basketball and Chinese dance in the CCA list. These were being offered too this yr to p2 students.

                      Hi phtthp

Surprisingly, no one can confirm what the highest psle score was, even p6 students themselves. Some said 275, some said 273.

Not sure about p5-6, but p3-4 students rec a letter informing parents that 3 classes r high ability classes n the rest r the same. The top 3 classes r E, F & follow by G.

                        59 students scored 250 and above 😄
