All About Preparing For PSLE

It’s 50 days more to go before PSLE orals.
I dread to cross out day after day. Where school work is concerned, I am hands off now, but he has to get the tutors’ work done. My schedule for him now is very tight.
Our energy, both mental and physical is precious. So we have to save it to last for the next 3 months. Run too fast, we will lose our breath. Don’t take any Brands essence…weather too hot. -

Remind him that his dream school is ACS(I). Don't forget to put a photo of ACS(I) right in front of his writing desk. I am sure that he has been to the Open House or at least view the school before. Ask him to Jia You & he will get closer to his dream school. All the best! It's 50 days more to go before PSLE orals.

He is too tired to think of dream school now. Everyday after school, he knocks out after lunch and refuses to get up

All the PSLE parents, jiayou!! Do show your P6 kids that they have your full support whatever the results may be. With less anxiety-filled nagging, they may be inclined to work harder. It's not the easiest and most natural thing to do now, but at least that will help them face their first major exam with more confidence.
The kids may not really manifest it, but they may be feeling more stressed than you. Help them to feel you're with them to overcome the \"insurmountables\" and then just pray for the best. :xedfingers:
But easier said than done, I may feel equally uptight next year too.
God bless! -

I am sure you will be very busy next year...but don't worry nor think about this yet...you can start drilling once SA2 is over. All the PSLE parents, jiayou!! I sure need every possible divine help now. Not nagging, motivating and giving rewards to move on is tough. Told my son not to get too stressed out over prelims...do what he can, since not using DSA. After the prelims, then go all out for the BIG thing. -
Hi,
Any one know
what is the last year killer subject? English, Science, Math, Mt?
and also, what do you guess this year killer subject will be? :xedfingers:
think Math? -
I remember that last year many students complained about maths, some even cried, but the results for maths were not bad at all! So when a paper is hard, it is not necessarily a bad thing.
-
If i ve ever heard of a killer paper, it is always math. Nvr heard of any other killer paper. Also heard math is the one that determines the agg score cos the results are absolutes. Whereas for other subjects marks are very subjective.

Understand MOE is trying to get cream of the crop for math. Math is always a killer subject. If it is set really tough, there could be some leeway.
Science is another killer bcos MCQ is no joke and that is a section student has to try to score high to balance back the OE part. -
