I’m planning to bring my family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) for cruise this coming Jun school holiday. As I’d never been to one, would like to know whether is there any room that is big enough for us or whether they have adjoining room if we need 2 rooms.

My children are 5, 7, 8 & 11 yrs old.

I am going for redang in jun. I think max 4 pax per room. Not sure abt suite though? I wanted to check if redang provide free boat to the island?

Yes, Starcruise provides free tender boats to and from the island. Ride is about 20 minutes.

Hi All, anyone here is holding a Starcruise membership card? I have question on how does the redemption for cabin works, as I heard that there are some changes or the redemption problem since late last year. Please advice. thanks.

Does anyone know how many points to redeem a inside stateroom on a weekend cruise wif virgo during this coming September?

Were shocked to hear that the pts needed to redeem a inside stateroom on a weekend cruise is 280pts (4 in a rm). Last time, the pts needed is only 80pts (4 in a rm). Moreover, need to pay for the tax of about $78 per pax. How to accumulate so many pts? I wonder how many trips must you travel and gamble how many days to obtain a 100 pts??? If you purchase from the travel agent, it is too ex, almost $2000 inclusive tax for a family of 4!

Effective July 2012,In addition,you have to top up another 80 pt per non member pax in the room. Gosh !!!!

Totally crazy right? So I think if you have been there (Star virgo) once or more, then is better to go somewhere else for holiday by plane (cheaper) than cruise, don’t you agree?
