Was doing the laundry and reminded DS3 to take his school uniform from his bag.

DS3 held out a button and his shirt hoping that I would take them from him.
DS3: mum, 1 of the buttons of my school shirt came out.
Me: sew it back on then.
      DS3: I don't know how. :whut:
Me: didn't they teach you in HE class?
      DS3: nope. Can't you do it? 🤷
Me: Well, learn. You know where's the needle and thread are.
      DS3: you menopause arh?

DD forgot to put her dirty clothing immediately to washing machine again. I was mad!

        I said,\"Pull your ears 20 times now!\"
DD,\"No.... mummy, please... I don't want to pull ears...\" (requested with red eyes)
Me, \"No! You want to pull 20 times or 200 times? Choose.\"
DD,\"20 times.\" She started to pull her ears silently.

        ............ 2 weeks later......

DD,\"Mum, if I do my Math worksheets (5 pages) all correctly, can you give me $1?\"
Me,\"Why should I give you money? This is your job. You should do it without any conditions!\"
DD,\"Yes! You must give me money. You want to give $1 or $10? Choose!\" (with smiling face)
        Me,\"What?!\" :faint:

Because we live in multi-cultural Singapore:

When DS2 was a small boy, he asked what we were going to have for dinner.

                  Me: Naan.
                  (Silence)
DS2: (sobbing) You don't love me. You want me to be hungry, is it? Izzit??
Me (flabbergasted): What? What did I say? We're going to eat naan what.
DS2: Yah lor, you say we're going to eat none for dinner!!!!

                  Kwa kwa kwa
