GEP tests must pass both English and Maths.
Dr Peh reply only concentrate on the Maths portion. To reach IQ 130, he didn’t mention on English part ? -
Furthermore, IQ is not equivalent to maths ability. Can these trainers coach a high-IQ child who has not been exposed to basic arithmetic?

English can't be trained overnight mah. Language is what the kids must build from young. I have both GE and mainstream kids and I observe their difference is only the language portion. The GE kid loves to read by nature, and simply anything under the sky. So he got in lor while the mainstream one got \"kick-out\" at selection phase and I am glad he did not slip into GEP else he would have to suffer at the high demand of GE language portion. He has proven to be better off at mainstream to build his language foundation and eventually got a high T-score while he also received DSA offer after taking their GAT.GEP tests must pass both English and Maths.

He didnt' mention about English. He also didn't answer my original question which was about whether needed to take an actual IQ test - since their website states minimum IQ 130. He just asked about if the child could do 4 operations & problem sums.GEP tests must pass both English and Maths.
