          Hi all,

My family is planning to go to Bintan Club Med this June holiday in the last week. I would like to know
          1) Is the facilities the same as Club Med in Bali and Phuket as I have been to these places before.
          2) How big is the Ria Bintan Hotel room, as I have booked 2 rooms, I have 2 maids, 3 kids and a 2 yr old baby, my hubby and me.
          3) Should I take the ferry or Lion Airways from Jarkata? Which is better in your opinion?
          4) Is the climate there suitable for kids? Cooling?
          5) Other than staying at Club Med, which activities will be fun for kids and adults?
          6) Any kids playground like Bali's Club Med?

All replies are greatly appreciated. Even though I might have already left for Bintan next week, feel free to post here for the sake of others. :rahrah:
          Thank You! 😓
          谢谢!辛苦你了:)

I went to Bintan Club Med about 2 years ago, thus I’m not sure if there are changes thereafter. Just sharing what I remembered:-

            1) Sorry, have not been to Club Med Phuket thus can’t compare. As for Club Med Bali, that was years ago. You might want to check their website for the latest facilities.
            2) I booked 2 rooms with connecting door for 2 Adults and 3 kids. It was a kingsize bed, baby cot and the other room consists of 2 single beds.
            3) We took ferry and it was very convenient. The shuttle waited for us and we board the van.
            4) I remembered the weather was hot.
            5) The activities my kids went for was trapeze, archery, kite, art & craft activities, performance activities and swimming activities. They also have kids club according to age group.
            6) Sorry, at that time I don’t remember bringing the kids to the playground.

Oh yeah, another good thing I remembered that there was baby food (Heinz) at the restaurants. You can even get sterilizer in the room. Best to inform them before your arrival.

            Cheers,

Thank You all for your suggestions and sharing of experience.

I really found it enjoyable, as it was child-friendly and had many activities for kids when they are bored. Thank You everyone again.

Club Med Bintan and Bali should be called Club Happiness! Great for parents with kids. Parents enjoy, and kids enjoy too. My kids cant stop talking about it!

                        Hi,

I will be going Club Med Bintan mid-Dec with hubby and son(9 yrs old). As he is going alone to join the Mini club med, I hope he will be comfortable and enjoy the activities. Although I have read about the activities provided, I wonder if anyone has any positive/negative experienes to share. thanks. 😂
