Sigh! Unlikely less than 20 for Phase 2A2. And base on growing trend, I think scgs may hit 40. For AC applicants, at least they have ACS junior at the other street to consider, still not too bad. Therefore for those going for SCGS, let's pray together that tomorrow will have unexpected low applicants!

If really left crumbs for phase 2B and 2C within 1km, what other school beside SCGS? I am really very stressed.

Are you within 1 km in P2B for SCGS? If yes, chances are still there plus you have a second go at 2C should you fail at 2B. 😄

Yes no balloting in 2b at least in the last 5 years. Last yr 3 places were remaining in 2b and spilled over to 2c i think. Last year, there was no balloting in 2c as number of applicants = number of places.

I think you mean no balloting within 1 km for 2011 phase 2c as all within 1 km got in last year but there were disappointments for those exceeding 1 km. We do expect the competition to get more intense for those within 1km due to the increase in housing surrounding the school.

For phase 2b, while the dynamics for GL is expected to change, there is also an increasing trend of PVs over the last few years.

For phase 2c, the competition is also affected by the neighbouring schools such as NYPS and RGPS.

I was fetching my dd from SCGS on the last day of phase 2c in 2011, at around 4ish pm (the last hour before phase 2c registration ended). There were many parents rushing to the school at the last hour. The admin staff told me that the school had informed those parents outside 1 km to come to de-register. Some did not make it on time. I understand that the same situation happened at SJIJ too.

All the best to all of you who are registering for SCGS!

Yes that was what I meant, only within 1 km. thanks!!

If only girl school, there is none, \"没有\" \"Tidak Ada\" இல்லை
Only alternative is Balastier Hill Primary School within the vicinity.
Else i think there is St Margaret Primary at Mt Sophia area which is not too far away (<3km) but not sure of its balloting history.
