2012 P1 Registration Exercise for 2013 In-Take

i will be a bunch of nerves tomorrwo to find out how many remaining seats lef for Phase 2b and phase2C.

I keep telling myself it's ok but since i knwo when the Phase 1 started, been a bunch of nerves. I know there is nthing i can do about it except have my second and third choices ready even till phase 2C but still cant help but worry. so hard...

Can I seek expert advise on the following:-


i have 2 houses and 1 of it I am eligible for phase 2b registration but is >1km from ACS while the other is phase 2c but within 1 km to nyps.

Can I apply for phase 2 b for ACS and if failed, change my address and apply try for phase 2 c in nyps?

The school of my choice has 119 vacancies for 2(A)2, I called today and 60 have registered. I have this feeling it will go to ballot. If that happens I will withdraw since I live more than 10 km from the school. Can anyone advise if this is a good idea? I understand that if lets say 120 or 121 kids apply for 119 places, management may take in all to save on balloting procedure ... can anybody confirm?

Hmm.. My understadning is that we go by distance. If a;; 121 kids for that 119 places are n teh same distance category and also all are SC, then even if exceed by 1 application, all must ballot. Anyone else have a different understanding, please help enlighten.

I think if its just exceed by 1, they will go without balloting.

You have very good chance, don't worry. If everyone like you going to register on 2nd day, then most of us will be near to heart attack on day 2 because we are all hoping the number will not change much after day one. To be nervous over 119 seats is unnecessary lah....
