Want/don't want inconsistent still ok. The didi/meimei inconsistent is a headache! I was complaining to my colleagues about this one day. They so smart wor, as me to have twins - one boy one girl. They said I sure hit jackpot no matter his my child twist. Faint.

May be you can explain to him that we can only embrace what we are given. No matter didi or meimei, he/she will be his closest kin & they should love each other.

  I am more evil, I just explain to him that no matter a new didi or meimei, he would need to share them with mummy. Mummy can't carry him anymore as mummy will need to carry the younger one. Mummy will give him one whole ice cream because he won't be sharing with mummy anymore, since mummy will share with the younger one. Almost immediately, he made up his mind - no didi or meimei. :rotflmao:

Yap that will definitely wipe him out of any idea of having a sibling. My DS :rotflmao removed that idea when he heard from classmates how bad it was to have siblings competiting with them for toys, parents attention & loves.:

            Good morning everyone,

I am new in the kiasuparent.com. have been surfing around and found this thread with parents having the same issue as me. One child issue.

My girl was from 2nd pregnancy and 3rd pregnancy was a pair of boy/girl twins which we lost them on 27 weeks and almost lost my life on the surgery table, last pregnancy no heart beat at 8th weeks.

To this point, we finally concluded that we are not fated with with more children. We rest our case and gave up. Now we just concentrate nurturing this only 1 daughter

Hi lilychong3, welcome to this thread. So sorry to hear that about your miscarriage. 😢
So how old is your daughter now? Are you FTWM or SAHM?

                    lasery2k,

If it's your DH psycho or brain wash your ds, tell your DH - he is the \"deciding\" factor ... Not you (do you get the drift ?)
So the ball is now in his court. 😆

And I agree with Flowermonaster, 2-3 years of gap between siblings is rather good... If you and your DH are ready, you should go ahead to try to have another. 😉
