Wah, for those un-popular schools, really swat mosquitoes during the earlier phases!


I mean, besides the P1 siblings phase, no alumni association to speak of hence n.a for P2A1, then P2A2, also hardly any action. P2B even more no need to say, ie. no PV nor connections. So wait until P2C and P2C (supp).

I also dun understand. But think they got overall improvement for psle last year. My ds is there now. Acad wise nothing much. No stress. CCA also not many choices. So far no outing or learning journeys. I saw other schools have loads of it. Actually if have girls, can consider Marymount. I think it's not bad.

Thanks mashy, for me Andersen is a bit hopeless already because I am > 2 km and did not PV. Checking out the other schools around the area.

I think most schools dont have much stress for P1 & P2 as I have check with friends from St Nicks and they say not much homework for P1 & P2. But once P3 starts, I think all the schools starts to load on the homework.

I compared the amount of work st nicks have with Anderson, a lot more in st nicks. Enough to have marks for mid yr report book. Anderson doesn’t even have mid year report book. Spelling are also a lot more difficult. Anderson p1 spelling is simpler than k2 spelling.

Hi Mashy, u r trying for St nick? I give up since only have 15 seats for 2C, gg to just go for Anderson. Marymount still have 177 vacancies and dont think they have balloting for P2C.

Anderson dont have mid yr for P1 & P2. But not sure if the CL is of higher standard since they use higher CL all the way until P4. P5 only 1 or 2 classes higher CL, the rest is Std CL and 1/2 class foundation CL. Quite strict with the streaming, only those above 85 can get into higher CL and the rest need to pass to go for std CL. But St nick is the other way, only 2 classes is std CL, the rest is higher CL, no foundation CL.

Just saw this from another topic. For Top T-score for 2011, though nvr think of using this as Top T-score normally depends on the luck of the intake of the school for that year.

My younger one is still young. only applying in 2015. Yes, she will be going st nicks so I will be running around like a crazy woman once the two are in primary sch since they will be in different schs.
