Any good student care to recommend in Woodlands area? Not sure whether any parents proposed before to have 1 in Chongfu itself?
Btw need parents here to advise me. How’s your child coping if he/she is taking up enrichment/ tuition in the weekdays, let says he/she is in morning session. After school, attend student care till evening. And after student care, attend enrichment classes/ tuition. I’m in dilemma as in those good enrichment ctrs are always full with classes on weekends. Hence only left weekdays. I don’t wish to sign up now and end up have to cancel next year because of too much homework etc.
Thanks for advise. -

I agree that there's too much homework everyday. For P1, my girl does her work till 10pm.
My friend's girl is in Nan Chiau P1, afternoon session. She does her homework till 11pm everyday. I think it is common nowadays. No more honeymoon period for P1 & P2. Time has changes. This is what we call stressful S'pore education system. -
my girl in Chongfu quite relaxed leh…I admit there’s a far bit of hw but nothing too daunting.

Hi,
Anyone considering after school care? I am in dilemma cos my girl will be very tired if she attends. She will be spending 12 hrs at school… Poor thing. -
Hi All,
I have just gotten my daughter into Chongfu for next year’s Primary 1. Came across this topic when I was searching for the orientation date. Glad that there is this discussion plateform for 1st time primary 1 mother like me.
Hope to see more information and experience sharing from mothers who have gone through all these before.

Hi Mandysaurus,
Last sat I just enrolled my daughter to student care near Chongfu. To my surprise, the places were taken up very fast. Still left 1 more place by the time I left. On the very day before I went, still have 5 places. Think most parents are putting their kids at student care.
According to the supervisor, the kids only start doing their homework at ard 3.45pm. Before that, they will have their shower, lunch and nap. I feel is still alright not as in whole day studying non-stop.
Though I have a helper at home but I still prefer to put my girl in student care. At least there’s someone to supervise her homework and she won’t spend the balance half of the day watching tv and doing nothing.
