Whether you use the machine to wash floor cloth or not, it will be dirty with detergent accumulation, mould, etc. πŸ˜‚

The point is, it is not the floor cloth that cause these dirt. It is just scum from frequent use. What is important, is to maintain the cleanliness of the machine by cycling it with vinegar or baking soda once a month with hot water and also clean the soap box that scums easily.

If you don't clean your machine well, then the dirt accumulation inside from washing your clothes is worse than that of the floor cloth :rotflmao:

I pm you a YouTube link to watch how easy it is done so you can decide better whether you want to try.

You aircon should be easier to do. Mine is 16 years ago model. Still need some unscrewing πŸ˜‚ but still do-able lah. They say it takes 15 mins but I take 1/2 hour to be thorough.
osim, can you pm me the link to that YouTube video? I am interested in DIY my Daikin aircon too. My aircon is about 12-13 years old too, and the last they were cleaned was.... I don't even remember. :slapshead:

        TIA!

It's an old brand really. I've bought many times b1f1 over the years. It's value for money and 1 bottle can last many washes πŸ˜„

Roomba users, I'm asking a very silly question. Do you need to take the roomba to each section of the house? ie. from living to room and other rooms? Or does it moves automatically around the whole house? Assuming there are no kerbs amongst the room and the living.

Place Virtual Wall Lighthouse at door of each room (leave it on & it'll switch on automatically when roomba is activated).. This way, roomba will clean each room completely before crossing the lighthouse to another place...

If your house not very big, say 1200sf, then just leave roomba loose. For my scooba, I let scooba roam the living n dining, close all other doors. Then water change or recharge battery n clean the bedrooms one by one with door closed.

But due to the random moving, I felt its more efficient to go section by section (i watched how roomba clean first few days πŸ˜‰ Guess its really your preference. Cheers

                        Hi mummies,

Have you used a dryer (for clothes) before? Is it better than spinning the clothes dry? What brand is good value for money and approx. how much? Pls advise as I’m thinking of getting one. Thanks!
