[Marine Parade] Primary Schools

All schools are neighborhood schools. Is a matter of classified under which neighborhood. What ran meant is try to enrol into non elite schools, if popular hot schools no vacancies left.

Is there such a thing as \"non elite\" schools? :scratchhead: -
All 3 schools in Marine Parade are popular, drawing people staying just outside of Marine Parade, eg Frankel Ave, Siglap, ā¦
"Competition" for places have increased as more bungalows & semi-d in T.K. are turning into condos / private apartments. -
for hokkien huay kuan members, you can call today to see if you got the recommendation letter. the results are out.

Hello parents,
Can I check which is the BEST among the 3 student care?
1) Ngee Ann Student Care (in the school premises)
2) Just Kids (located at Marine Terrace, near Town Council)
3) M1 Buzz (Kinderland Group;located at Marine Parade Central)
Need to know which is good to put my son is.
ANY advice or comments on the 3 will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks -
Ran1977,
My frend had visited all three and decided to put her boy in kinderland.
She says is mre spacious and has a/c, more comfty.
NAPS, she says looks depressing.
Just kids, she say is very small and cramp.

Can anyone share with me experience with allied educators at Tanjong katong Primary School and Ngee Ann Primary? Are these schools supportive when dealing with children with special needs such as mild case of ADHD?

I think the the more appropriate question would be to ask if the child would be able to strive in that particular school environment. If the child is not overly disruptively active in normal class and can cope with adequate attention span, i think all teachers would be supportive. However, given that some schools are more academicaly focused, this child may be \"disadvantaged\" in that the teachers may not have the capacity to help him/her much due to just the sheer number of student in each class to mind. It all depends on how much the child can cope. I suggest you recce the school environment and compare to the child's ability before deciding which is the more appropriate school.
I have seen a child with severe ADHD in class and she went around every 5 mins screaming in class , hitting her classmates or just walking around the class the entire lesson. There is only one teacher in class with 35 kids. It is a tough challenge. -
parents from Ngee Ann or Tanjong Katong with special need child :-
would appreciate if you can also help to advise Ran too. Thank you very much.
