So your year of registration is 2014?
Even if you join SHHK now, you will be a member for less than 2 years by the time you are registering your child for P1. Don’t think you will be able to get yourself a recommendation for phase 2B. -

Anyone knows which are the schools that have the history of balloting for phrase 2B? I am staying 1-2km from a SHHK school wondering how is my chance…

I would agree to the above comments if you are looking at AT, NC, or TN. You might still have chance for CF or KW. Please read the earlier pages to find out more on this issues. -

My fren told me his niece got the recommendation letter for 2B this year for Nan Chiau. Her niece never do volunteer work and was a member of the huay kuan for 1.5 years only. She practically does nothing at all and yet for this 2B she got the letter.

It was similiar last year. I do know of cases of parents who had joined for ~1.5 years and get letters without having to be active. At the end of the day, it really depends on demand and supply, parents need to go in with eyes wide open.
