Did anybody wonder why RGPS applicants and vacancies for P2B is the same? Is it just a coincident? What I mean is is it possible any schools can discourage parents from registering to avoid over-subscription and balloting?

No. Moe official not present there physically to observe p1 registration at RGPS. Initially 41 seats but someone withdrew from earlier phase go ano school. Match the 42 phase 2b candidates gum gum hor.

Hi, my elder daughter is in a primary school. I wld like to try for my younger one (SC) in another reputed school within 1km. Due to SC priorities, knowing the low chances, many PRs may flood 2nd tier schools in 2C phase, in this case my elder daughter’s. If we are unable to get any seat in 2C in our school of preference and all seats in my elder daughter’s school is already taken in 2C, do the schools allow siblings to join in 2C supp. Are there any seats reserved for siblings to join in 2C supplementary?.

Hi Tankee, yes indeed I will continue to stick around. 2 years later my daughter's turn..

For now, I'm monitoring SJI and ACS numbers for 2C <1k. And also thinking of backup plan. Could anyone share if I stand a good chance of not having to ballot for these 2 schools? And which school would be a good backup?

To my understanding, within 2km all in but there's balloting for >2 km and it's 30 for 9 vacancies.

No reservation of seats for anyone. There won't be 2CS once seats are fully taken.

No reservation whatsoever. You need to re-apply all over again, fight with others in that Phase.

Thanks![/quote]Hi jangoh, u r really blessed within 1km for acs n sjij. U wld need to monitor till last day to c the probability. For me, balestier hill will be next choice. Back up plan is for me to :celebrate: accept God's choice. I find that not much mentioning in this forum. U r the 1st one ie same phase. :snuggles: cheers!
