      phtthp:
Can anyone share with me experience with Allied Educators at ACS Junior?

Are they supportive when dealing with children with special need such as mild case of speech delay ? TIA.
ACSJ is a very inclusive school and supportive of children including those with special needs. I understand AE will focus on children who need more help. If a child with mild special needs is able to cope in school well, it's unlikely they will look at the case.

                  Hi all,

I am thinking of sending my DS to a boys' sch and would really apprec if parents whose DS'es are in ACSJ (or any boys' sch in general) could advise if the sch approaches its method of instruction differently, on the premise that boys learn differently from girls?

Can someone give an idea what happens during the P1 Orientation? The P1 orientation for my son is in 2 Nov 2012.

                      For pupils:

Join fellow classmates and form teacher on a tour of school familarisation. When school starts, there will be another week of school orientation to equip pupils with the school procedures and rules. If I am not wrong, they will also have CCA Open House to let pupils, including the P1s, try out the CCAs before the CCA online application.

P1 pupils can choose: tennis, soccer, sailing, swimming, golf โ€ฆ Canโ€™t recall the list.

                      For Parents:

Attend a school talk. Purchase of school uniforms. Submission of booklist. Nothing much.

                        2bbtang:
                        name:

Can anyone advise how are the boys split at the end of primary 3? understand that P4-5 to P4-8 are the \"higher ability\" class as such is 4-8 the best class followed by 4-7, 4-6 etc. thanks.[/quote

4.1 to 4.4 are the mixed ability classes.
4.5, 4.6 and 4.8 are the higher ability classes.
4.7 are the Thoburn Class (ACSJ's own gifted program)

                        Hi,

What about the split at the end of primary 2?
