Juz curious...do you work at the SC?
You work at the SC too?leongmichael:
How do you ensure your boys don't lose their wallet? There's wallet with attached rubber spring, but where to hook to the pants? Any tips to share?
There are 2 button holes on each side of the school pants - I would secure it to one of the button holes.
Btw, the rubber springy thing supplied with the wallets do not last very long. -

Sweetbaby: Formy son’s 1st day, I packed his pencil case, coloring pencils, his favourite snack, a pack of milo and a water bottle. I also put $1.50 in his wallet.

Fairy: They do provide an in room kettle to boil water. Please do not bring your own kettles, their security will ask for it to be removed from luggages.

RE: Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)
ACS-I boy:
Hi guys, I am a student of the school who transferred some years ago.
First the bad:
To tell the truth, this school is tough to get used to. I was bullied in sec one and two as I did not \"play the same computer games as they did\". Luckily I am in IP, express classes got even more bullies. There are also very few Singaporeans compared to the number of foreigners here (IDK if this happens to just my class.) I also saw some cases of express students not getting leadership positions in their CCAs. And the maintenance of the facilities kinda sucks. TBH I kinda regretted coming to this school
Then the good:
Well, the teachers give kinda good notes to reinforce what is being taught in the lessons. The friends are nice, if you manage to clique with them (if you don't within the first few weeks, then kena ignore the whole year, damn boring). Umm... Unfortunately, i think thats all...
To sum up, I believe that your child will have a good time here, but its damn tough if you don't join from year 1. If you're in IP, then lucky... express damn sad.
ACSI-boy, Thanks for your honest sharing. I would like to encourage you to choose your friends/cliques wisely, because their influence on you, at this stage of your development, may have a great impact on you. -
RE: Skin fungal infection
You may want to try this cream, I think its called “Dakterin” and it can be bought at Watson or Guardian. Its quite a powerful anti fungal cream. Try a concentrated application on a small part of the back first, and monitor if any effect.
