River valley needs balloting in p2c < 1km?

I'm wondering if the trend of 43 app staying <1km to ACS & 22 app staying <1km from SJI will continue in 2c.
I think there will be many more P2c<1 km than in P2b<1 km.....
Parents of 2013 P1 take note

Primary 1 Maths syllabus to be tweaked from next year

        http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/1200575/1/.html

Yup, my ds kindergarten is teaching them sphere and cone now when the news is already out in May so it really depends on school.

3D shapes like sphere and cone all the while in P1 syllabus. I don't think the new syllabus (slight change only) refers to this.

Quoted from the news \"They will also NOT be taught about 3D shapes. They will instead learn about the orientation of objects such as whether they are facing left or right or pointing up or down.\"
Quoted from the news \"For instance, Primary 1 students will no longer learn about measuring and comparing objects' physical mass through the use of non-standard units like paper clips and apples. They will also not be taught about 3D shapes.\"

So it means that currently both \"use of non-std units and 3D shapes\" are taught so under the new syllabus it will not be taught wef next year.

anyone registering your kids to SHPS (St. Hilda Pr. School) in phase 2C? I am living < 1KM... how high is my chance? based on passed yr, look difficult...

and anyone try to check the vacancy available at the end of each registration date? asking info like how many SC < 1km.. etc...
Based on past balloting in 2C, This is one of the hardest lucky draw. The odds is 3 children vying for every 1 seat, if you still want to try, good luck but have a solid back up plan. Just stating the facts šŸ†’
