I don’t remember there was balloting at btps for p2c. There was only one year they had to ballet for p2c support as it was dragon year ( I could be wrong, as I don’t monitor after son got in :-p).

Most of his classmates stay around this area too.

If you are keen to get in phpps, you will need to monitor quite closely. Definitely have balloting (just whether it is for which category).

Parents here have mixed views about btps, but generally most are ok with school (you can read some of the earlier posts). My kid enjoys btps. He comes back to tell me about what happens in school and activities. Just joined the school choir recently and will be performing during national day at bukit timah cc. Teacher says that he can be a training prefect next year if he continues to be good so there is something he can work towards 🙂

Also, the school is pretty "cosmopolitan" as it attracts the pr and expats in the area, so you get a good mix of kids.

                  Hi Davincci46,

My girl is also in the school. She is P1 now. Got in via Phase 2C last year. The scene at the school was serene compared to some of the other schools where I had come from. There was no balloting at Phase 2C last year. Plenty of spaces left for foreigners under PHase 3.
Her classmates - alot of them are foreigners so I like that she gets to experience a variety of cultures.

She's happy with the school so far. We also chose this school as we could not get into the other schools we were eyeing on. On hindsight, it was probably a good move for her as she's alot happier since coming to the school. I guess she found some friends there and she has nice teachers. She is involved in CCA too. She buys her own food at the canteen everyday. So far I really don't know if there's anything to complain about!

I will also be putting her younger sibling there when it comes her time. I dont think I can handle the stress of balloting / P1 registration.

She is very happy, no regret. I used most of the exercise books and files but not the textbooks and uniforms, since these have been sitting there for almost a year, I think it should be time to clear up the space.

                        Hi pchong,

I still have the exercise books etc… Only managed to use 30% or so from the whole box that I bot from the school bookshop. Really hope someone can take over them for better use. I checked with the others that we got to know when we were registering out kids then, all of their kids also trf out… so, no chance to pass on.

How time flies, another year is here for registration, so hope someone will contact us soon…hee hee…

Good to know your gal is enjoying every bit in school now, my DS too…
