I'm only curious to find out how on earth the prosecution is able to come out with such a detailed list of charges, from the items and \"prices\" to the exact dates and accounts of the \"trysts\". It's unlikely such info will be volunteered by either party involved. Someone's very unhappy about these two people, that's for sure. There's much more than meets the eye, folks. Don't take things at face value.

d legwork has been done at CPIB before going to AGC whether to proceed with charges.
Interrogation techniques n collaboration fr multiple sources at CPIB level.
Involved parties may not admit at first shot, but will succumb when confronted with 'evidences'.
Not difficult to obtain n cfm those details once one party breaks down.

I wonder why the gal confess - unless it is shown her \"work\" and \"sch performance\" is so lousy that it does not deserved an\"A\". Only if she confess that the prof will end up corruption case - no one else can prove that with all the evidence that she bought those as bribes. Both can insist it is a case of extra-marital affair or adultery which is not criminal offence.

CPIB where got so free check on her n everyone else’s work n performance as a routine.

              Also manpower resources limited.
Many of these investigations r initiated after someone snitch or file a complaint.

Absolutely. Someone must have snitched on them. Someone with a big vendetta against either or both of them.

I wonder how they’re going to prove that the prof gave the girl an A in return for sex and gifts. After all, this girl appears to be very bright, having been on the Honour List at RI and NUS. She could have handed in an A essay on her own accord. And those gifts could be no more than gifts from a mistress to her man? It seems clear that there is more to the case than meets the eye…

Yup, agree with Way2GO on this. The exhaustive invest work and papers would have all been compiled before picking the pair up for arrest and/or questioning.

Buds, d pair wld hv also been brought in separately for questioning DURING d investigation stage.

Wouldn’t be surprised if info fr one is used to extract or cfm info fr d other.
Its one of d techniques used.
