(Haven't broke the news to him, he has been asking since morning, called me during recess to remind me to check on NUSH website.... he'd be very very very disappointed... he has been dreaming of going to NUSH since P4.... now hope dashed )

AWWW....I was rooting for you guys! IMO, NUSH is one of the few schools that give kids who are not 'exam smart' a fair chance, with no preferential treatment given to GEP students...but it's ok. One thing I learnt from DD's DSA and PSLE experience last year, NEVER let your child feel like his/her life depends on one decision/outcome, life is full of possibilities! It might spur him on to work harder for PSLE![/quote]Thank you Tiggermum. This means so much to me :snuggles: One good thing that I hope will come out of this is that my DS will work hard for the PSLE. I am really happy for all of you. Really, really.

I know the chances are low for entry via PSLE, but my DS is the really hopeful type, and I am grateful for that. Anyway, if he does not get in this time, if anyone of you know of any school who is excellent in Science and Maths, please advise. That will help me in choosing the next best school for him.

Thanks for the info. Weird that they tell us different things. My understanding of the interview is that they need to clarify some doubts w the child directly and it will take no more than 15 mins. No mention of written & oral. Oh dear.....

Need some infor… So what happen to the students when they finish their year six? What certificate or diploma certificate will they get? Does the majority go to NUS? If so, which faculty? Can they choose to go NTU and do courses like accountancy or business? What applications to the oversea university? TIA
