Pregnant women can take honey. But do not give children less than 1 year old due to fear of child botulism. Cos honey might contain the botulism spores, which is found in nature, will grow in the intestine and release in botulism toxin. Cos the infant stomach not strong enough to inhibit the spores from growing so dont give to infant. Try to wait longer to give infant lah. 1 year is average but all individual unique. so dont give so soon lah. Botulism can be serious.

Adult stomach strong, so no prob. can eat including pregnant lady.

I saw on Facebook page of this HoneySpree shop in Singapore. They are having some discounts and I just bought a set so would like to share with you all. Not sure how to put a picture here but here's the link 😄

Is there any preferred brand for manuka honey?

i notice 1 difference abt manuka and normal honey… i put them both outside on different location in kitchen… within 1 day… the normal honey attracts ants… but manuka is cleared from ants… why huh?? DH said cos of the antibacteria thingy in manuka… but when u eat both are sweet honey… how come ants dont go to manuka… then i tested, leave only manuka outside… take away the normal honey… still i find only 1 ant circling it… but not onto it… anyone can explain… just curious…

Is ( ever green life ) manuka honey UMF 11 , suitable for 3-4 yr old children ? Is this brand good ?

I saw this from johnlittle so thinking shall I try ?
Anyone try before this brand ?

could it be cos the manuka bottle has a better seal/cover?

Maybe the ants who took in manuka didn't live long (too strong)...so the others dare not take it :rotflmao: as for normal honey, it's food.

I usually buy HNZ brand with UMF 10...mild enough for my 2 kids. But my 15 is for hubby.
