the remaining three greater than 1 km - won't be invited to ballot.
these 3 also head for 2C Supp schools.

all 46 to ballot for 42 seats.

This is the SC within 1km balloting for 25 vacancies.

There you go…there are enough SCs living within 1km of the schools. Typically for NYPS, it would have been over-registered by double, i.e. 50 for 25 seats including both SCs and PRs. This year, 33 for 25 is a reasonable size. Of course as years go by, more PRs may decide to become SCs since SCs are enjoying more perks now and the competition may become stiff again.
