PS: My Aunt's neighbour's daughter got 238 3 years ago (we all meet up pretty regularly) ... couldn't get in to cedar then - she was v disappointed.

This year also cannot get in. There is open house on Saturday 28th. I am going to ask that question.... Like Can appeal! My DD is at 240 [/quote]Is your girl athletic? At 240 your girl stands a chance if she runs well (well as in either fast for sprint events or has stamina for long-dist), jumps or throws well ( Javelin or shot put)! No joke! Track & Field has long been Cedar's forte (of cos alongside academic achievements)...

Same for u Vlim - if your niece can do any of these, she might stand a chance

hi, i'm a student from Ai Tong and i just got back my psle results: 267, +3 for higher chinese. my dilemma is this: i've always had my sights set on rgs, but recently i've been asking around and my friends suggest i should go to nygh. family, however, prefers me to go to rgs.


i've recently picked up tennis, so i wish to practice over the hols and join that (or netball) as a cca next year. from what i've heard, both schools have a very rigorous selection process for sport ccas. also, i am better at english, but i'm interested in sciences, humanities and chinese warfare. my friends have applied for nygh, and those who are going to rgs are those that i don't really like.

i'd like to consider some aspects of both schools: the students' personalities, the cca selections, overall school spirit, atmosphere of the school itself and the teachers in respective schools. it would be extremely helpful if i can get some insight from pupils' experiences in either schools.

Haha back then I scored 278 + 3, went to NYGH. Applied for RGS DSA but was turned down, accepted NYGH DSA offer later on. Had a great time in NYGH, no regrets at all!
