congrats to you!hi, i'm a student from Ai Tong and i just got back my psle results: 267, +3 for higher chinese. my dilemma is this: i've always had my sights set on rgs, but recently i've been asking around and my friends suggest i should go to nygh. family, however, prefers me to go to rgs.
i've recently picked up tennis, so i wish to practice over the hols and join that (or netball) as a cca next year. from what i've heard, both schools have a very rigorous selection process for sport ccas. also, i am better at english, but i'm interested in sciences, humanities and chinese warfare. my friends have applied for nygh, and those who are going to rgs are those that i don't really like.
i'd like to consider some aspects of both schools: the students' personalities, the cca selections, overall school spirit, atmosphere of the school itself and the teachers in respective schools. it would be extremely helpful if i can get some insight from pupils' experiences in either schools.
thanks!
(my mum is very likely reading this.)
have you thought about going to DHS or CHS? Both are sap schools where you can use your HCL points. And since they are running IP, you don't have to worry about 'O' levels and which school to choose again etc. The only thing is I'm not so sure about their Tennis standard though... -

Updated with Ngee Ann
Didn't update Temasek as i think the school didn't update their website - they put top student 275 (but going by MOE record Temasek did not make it to the 275 list this year - so this suggests that their data might not have been updated - it could be a case of last year's result ie 2008 info)
How got Kiasu points for me
???
