Not true. I failed phase 2b which I am puzzled what happen. Within 1pm, all dicuments were submitted before deadline and again we failed.

Now waiting for 2c result next week. So stressful. I fail again would probably end up with far distance school

schools likely to enter 2C Supp are:-


Greendale (71.7 % occupied)

Punggol View (57.1 % occupied)
Punggol Green (18.1 % occupied)

I’m just wondering why Greendale is not a popular choice eventhough it a much older school than Horizon?

Personally, I think it is because the school is not active in marketing itself. I know Horizon primary shools visited the K2 in my kids childcare since it opens.

Greendale primary has lots of international students - China, Philipines, India, New Zealand and Australia. At times, I feel my kids go to international schools. Ha…ha.

Sliversword, I think you should pull a petition together with the rest of the parents and find out y thru clan is not accepting. Unless there is a queue system in phase 2b where as PV, RC comes first follow by clan…

If you don't mind trying new schools, you may want to consider Punggol View. It looks promising. The principal of PV is from current Keming Pri Sch. Visit the Keming parent network and read the comments, quite positive. Don't forget to visit the PV school website too. Being the pioneer batch has its advantage too. eg. The teachers will focus on ur kids. Look at Horizon, they have the HOD teaching their first batch of PSLE. (now P5)

Need advise from all experience parents here, if u are staying at another district but moving to punggol in 2 years time.will you register your kid into a school at punggol or the district you currently lives.


Plus if both parents are working and main care giver are their grandparents staying outside Punggol, what will you choose?

School in punggol or current location nearer to grandparents lives?

It left with few option for kids in Punggol area.

Horizon, Mee Toh and Greendale are within 1km from my place. Am now trying to get more information about Greendale as this is the nearest school near my place. Punggol View is a bit far for us.

I failed registration as PV in MT last year.

Thus, requested a letter from Buddhist Logde to register for phase 2B ( my house is within 1km). Again failed.

Now pending for phase 2C result.

I just hoping that all schools are good schools. This P1 registration is really causes unnecessary stress to parents.

Looking forward for more good childcares, primary & secondary schools in Punggol area.

Guess we have suffer the same faith, but I have register my son to Horizon after been rejected by MTS in P2B.

Good luck to you on your P2C for your kid at MTS.
