[quote]Hi KennethKl
Thanks for sharing your personal experience.
May I know what are the new facilities built during your period?
Is Mrs Jenny Yeo fundamental in implementing the drilling style of learning in the school and what are the HOD's beliefs? I'm trying to understand the direction that the school is taking in the process that the principal change is inevitable. tx.

The arts hub + the air conditioned hall + the tennis courts are some things I can remember. All these were built within a year or 2 I think. Usage for these facilities are high, justifying the costs. But the school is still really small, doubt it can expand especially when space needed for single sessions soon enough.
Mrs Jenny Yeo brought these changes I think. I am not really sure what happens behind the scenes, but if she picked the teachers to teach top classes, she was extremely smart in a choice as they were really the best teachers, but now most, if not all have left except the current Chinese HOD. SV is really faltering in my honest opinion, it has reached its maximum potential. Hoped this helps

Hi CrispyApple & Jappooh,Hi CrispyApple,
no worries on the late reply. I am a working mum too. Wow u have 3 kids then you must be really busy. How old are your 2 other kids?
Ya hope we can get to know each other and can share our kids progress when they are in CCKPS.

hi parents, as my 1st son could not went into southview in the balloting phase, we are quite lost now.
could someone advise us whether which schools is better Concord,Unity or Teck whye, Kranji as all these schools are at least more than 2km away from our house.
thanks. -

Sorry to hear that. Actually, where are you staying?
My opinion is for you to try Concord or Unity first as these are better schools compared to Teck Whye & Kranji.
Hope this helps. -

Sorry, you did not get your child in 4 years ago. How about transferring him into DLS this year? Its never too late to get a catholic education.
I doubt DLS would want my son even if there is vacancy. His results no good as he is a little ADHD. -

Based on guts feel, Unity is best amongst these 4. At the same time, it is the furthest as it is at the end -- CCK Crescent. Next could be Kranji / Concord.hi parents, as my 1st son could not went into southview in the balloting phase, we are quite lost now.

since u go ballot for south view i guess you should be within 1 km to southview? If yes concord might be within 1km to you. Cant be all is more than 2km. U can check out the actual distance before deciding.
Unity should be the most popular ones among the 4 school. If you are more than 1km to Unity then u might not have chance to ballot in Phase 2C supp.
personally i do prefer Kranji then Teck whye. -
Hi parents, thank for all your inputs.
