1. MGS, ACS, Nanyang, SCGS, RGPS - these schools are located in expensive neighborhoods. I do not think there are even any HDBs within 1km. Considering 70% of Singaporeans live in government housing...what is this telling you?

there's actually at least 8 blocks of HDB flats within 1 km of NYPS, but these flats are rarely for sale on the market , owners are keeping it for good.

These 8 Blks of HDB flats are located in prime CCR district 10. Surely owners are keeping for good. Look how much neighboring private apartment are going for $psf

Seems there are many twins around.

Personally know of 2 sets of twins and 1 set of triplets.

I was one of those who got balloted out in 2B MGS but eventually got in under 2C balloting. Towards the last few balls to be picked it was quite tensed, as both twins balls had not been picked. A better result would have been a twin ball being picked last, instead of second last, cos that would mean that the available number of places got increased by 1.. Anyway, I am just so relieved that after two rounds of balloting my daughter finally got into MGS!

You are rather fortunate since you have 2 balloting opportunities. Most, if not all, will have only 1 shot at the ballot. Congrats to you!!

There are HDB properties within 1.2 km of MGS...but the prices are fantastic.
