Probably will say same thing.
When one does not know how to be grateful for the work & sacrifice others had done for them, they will behave the same way ..... Just whether dare to say in front of their relatives.

What does it says about Singapore politics?
The fact that the decease of a country strong man has to be kept secret for awhile and the fact that it can be a point of speculation says very much about our politics.
That statement in bold is very misleading. Please rectify.
There is usually no needs for such secrecy and such secrecy is never important in mature democratic society because power is usually distributed and well balanced instead of being concentrated in 1-2 person like in 3rd world countries such as China and North Korea.
Excuse me for being soo blunt but in what way are you qualified to say so ?
I trust the leaders in charge to take the best action. And if that turns out to be a too cautious action, I would still feel it is in the interest of this country.
The reason for such secrecy is for the successor to capture crucial power before the fact is announced. It also means that there are rival factions competing for successing power. is this the case for Singapore?
Did it cross your mind that there can be other reasons when head of state / powerful post etc die suddenly such as national security. .. -

Yes yes agree.. pray everything is fine. He's my idol!!. So intelligent, one with foresight!!!LKY may have made some bad decisions along the way... but we can't deny we're where we are because of him. The grass always seems greener on the other side.(The detractors) Our country ,like any other country, needs some fine tuning in some policies but we're still grateful to be in a country where stability racial harmony and low crime rate should not be taken for granted.
As a parent, I sure have made some mistakes here and there in my parenting. But at the end of the day, I hope my child will see the positive things I have done and still appreciate me. -

I fully agree...IMHO, singaporeans should count their blessings....we should be glad that our fellow country men/women do not need to be exported to other countries to become construction workers/domestic helpers. -
While the day may come when we have to finally bid him goodbye. I do hope that he is well and that we will see him at tomorrowโs NDP.
The decisions he made, good and bad were all made base on all the situation and the information he had then, and what he could foresee. It is easy for us to sit here and be critical, now that things have unfolded, and say he should have done this or that instead of what he did. Hindsight as we always say is 20/20. -
Wonder if share prices will drop once the news is officially announced?

http://leewatch.info/[/quote]My mum experienced strike and Malays attacking Chinese during her life time, so she is grateful for the peace and harmony now. She told me her story and my dad did told me about the things that happened during Japanese occupation. Thus, I'm grateful too. If not, I'll not be here today. -
