We did ours at Formosa travel...the basement of people's park complex(or centre)...the one opposite furama hotel... Each visa is S$10. You just need to bring passport and the lady will do for you. Takes about 15 min

thanks. didn't know that, i had to apply the online version and had to pay A$20 each when i went over recently!

        Thanks all for sharing.

Carilyn - just to clarify that u didn't book any package or air ticket thru Formosa Travel? cos i understand some travel agencies charge S$10 per visa if you book your tickets thru them but between S$15 (Misa Travel at Hong Lim) & S$20 (UOB Travel Planners) if you did not (ie. just get them to help apply visa for you)

There are websites eg http://www.easyeta.com which charges S$12.90, just not sure if it is reliable. Quite surprised the Aust government allows that.

Anyway, think i will get it through Formosa since it is cheaper and reliable too.

        Thanks again!

I have called Farmosa Holiday Tour (S) Pte Ltd to check. Yes, no need to book air tickets or package through them. Can just get them to do the visa application for us at S$10 per pax. Must bring along passport as advised by Carilyn above. Payment is by cash though.

            Here’s their address:
Farmosa Holiday Tour (S) Pte Ltd
            101 Upper Cross Street
            #B1-19/20 People’s Park Centre
            Singapore 058357
            Tel: (65) 6534 1133
            Fax: (65) 6534 2888

7 of us travelling, some savings of S$90 for us when we pay S$70 instead of A$140.

            Thanks again for sharing, Carilyn!

Hi,can anyone suggest a reasonably priced hotel in central part of Melbourne so that it’s easy to move around. It’s our first trip to aus. Can someone recommend good local tours as well as the cheapest flight from Sydney to melbourne. Thanks!

Tours try Grayline. Flight try jetstar.
