Not trying to cause a hoo ha over the PR in 2CI support limlim that PRs should be given a go at phase 2C.
SC are given priority, so if SC applicants is more than the vacancies available , ballot is only between the SC ....PR dun even have chance.
Only when SC applicants < vacancies, then PR will get to 'smell' the leftover. I really dun see why this hoo-ha over PRs in phase 2C.
What really is important, is for schools to be able to update and inform potential parents what are the vacancies available and how many SCs are applying.....so that SCs (& PRs) can make informed decision.

I'm just voicing out my personal view. -
will it be a day when a "KKK" citizen demands that non-citizens are not allowed to own property and live within 2 km of any popular schools ? what degree of xenophobic is then overboard ?

But SC absolute priority over PRs already, yet there's still sooooo many calls to restrict the PRs even further. :sad: -

hahah... ya, but that doesn't seem so convincing to the parents. anyway, i will experience the p1 registration next year and every day and night, i am telling myself, all schools are good, all schools are good, all schools are good....after a year, may be i will believe all schools are good...
Maybe if one fine day after all P1 registeration has finished, it is announced that the core teachers for branded school A has already been transferred to average school B in neighbourhood X......
Will all the faces of all who tried all means to get into school A ( including buying exp homes near school A) be like this :yikes: or this :stompfeet: or this :mad: or this :rant: ?????
or will they not really care becos they place more emphasis on the brand name in the 1st place????

School board, alumni and parents are usually very influential and vocal. -

MOE can consider rotate current Subject Head (for 4 subjects) every 3 to 5 years from each of the branded hot, popular school to the average neighbourhood schools, in order to help establish common best practices methodology implementation across all schools in SG.
example:
if MGS (Blackmore drive) Subject Head in languages are so strong in getting entire school to gain impressive Quality passes in English at 91.2 % and Chinese at 94.2 %, can consider post them to neighbourhood schools that are weak in lanaguages, every 3 to 5 years.

MOE can also consider invite and hire semi retired / retired Principals, Vice Principals, Subject Head(s) of Department with many years of rich, extensive experience from hot, popular schools back to schools to work on contract assignment basis - plant them in the average neighbourhood primary schools, tap upon their rich valuable experience(s) to hand hold and train the younger, junior inexperienced teachers from average neigbhourhood schools the best Practices motivational teaching method(s) cum curriculum, in the 4 subjects.
